Student Leadership Retreat: Friday, Feb. 8 9-1 in the Ohio Room - anyone
interested in attending?
§ Amy Moore will attend. Just
ask if anyone wants to accompany Amy. No one has to, as we do not need another,
but, if there is a volunteer, e-mail M. Fuleky the names ASAP.
§ N. Mullins thinks that we should strongly encourage someone to go
with Amy.
2. Reminder of Induction Ceremony: Feb. 1, at 6:00 pm, in Jones Hall; Dinner afterwards - ask
for suggestions of places.
§ MVR: 3 yes, 1 maybe
- I am calling today but try to get a head count of how many are interested in coming
§ Volunteer photographer, who is an existing member, to work during
the induction?
3. Pizza social: Just looking to establish a time to get
together and have fun
§ A Thursday night, at 6:30, in February
§ Ask if that works with others’ schedules and, if not, ask
of other suggestions.
4. Bake sale: Just looking to establish a date for another sale
§ March possibly right after spring break, so people won’t
be watching their diets
5. Volleyball get-together: Just looking to establish
a time to get together and have fun
§ A Tuesday or Thursday night, after 6:30 pm, sometime this semester
§ N. Mullins will work on this, with facilities
6. Other Social Options: ropes course?
§ Any other ideas? When do we want
to do it?
§ Everyone really liked the ropes course idea at the rec center,
in April.
§ We need to talk to Michael Bowmen to set this up.
§ Do we have a volunteer to work with M. Bowman on this?
7. Polo Shirts: Casey called about polos… Black
polos, with red writing that says YSU, with Phi Epsilon Kappa underneath it
§ 1 for sure yes, 2 maybes, if the price is under $10
§ A little unrealistic to get a polo for under $10.00. Hold off?
8. Service Events: Ask everyone to look up events for
service aspect of PEK (something like Relay for Life)
§ I will send out an email reminding everyone that they need to help
us find an event.
